Built-in scalable Font Engine with smoothing to 64 shades
The ePage font engine itself provides the full range of font sizes. It can scale characters to a precision of 1/8 of a pixel, delivering greater clarity than is available from a browser.

Font smoothing is to 64 shades of grey – four times sharper and clearer than the 16 shades available with the Windows Font Engine.

These features enable ePage to deliver a level of quality closer to conventional hard copy print, including sharp, clear body text – an essential requirement of publishers.

Also, the Font Engine provides perfectly proportional scaling of the text as the page is scaled up or down.
